Why Anthropic
Artificial intelligence sits at the centre of our investment thesis and of the tools we build. Anthropic develops Claude and focuses on building AI systems that are safe, reliable and useful. We see the company as one of the defining businesses of this technology cycle, and its public listing as the first opportunity for us to hold it directly.
How this fits our portfolio
Alongside our private investments in fintech, consumer and technology companies, we take positions in public markets where we have strong conviction. Participating in the Anthropic IPO adds direct exposure to frontier AI to the portfolio.
